The Compassionate Counsellor
If you are struggling with challenges in your life, I can offer a down to earth, but practical approach to help you move forward.
Welcome
If you are reading this, there is a good chance that you are close to making the decision to seek counselling. Entering into therapy can be one of the hardest but bravest decisions you can make for yourself. Life can be complicated and it may well be that you need support to make changes and improve the quality of your life.

I understand that it is hard enough to open up to close friends about your struggles, so entrusting them to a total stranger can seem daunting.

I offer a safe and confidential setting in which to explore your concerns; these may relate to an emotional crisis arising from adverse life events, such as bereavement, a loss of job or relationship, or there may be specific presenting problems such as self harm, depression, anxiety attacks, or physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.

"Deep listening is the kind of listening that can help relieve the suffering of another person. You can call it compassionate listening. You listen with only one purpose: to help him or her to empty his heart."
